Elina Teboul, J.D., M.A

Elina Teboul is an executive coach, consultant and speaker. She founded The LightUp Lab to inspire and empower people and organizations through positive psychology, mindfulness and coaching training.

 

Elina began her career as an investment management attorney at the law firm  Davis Polk & Wardwell, LLP and the Global Markets Department of Credit Suisse, working with large clients on complex financial and corporate issues, with a focus on structuring and compliance of hedge funds and private equity funds. 

 

Elina is avidly working to change the culture of the legal profession and is a frequent writer and speaker on lawyer personal and professional development.

 

Elina is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham Law School teaching Positive Lawyering, an innovative new curriculum which explores how developments in positive psychology and and executive coaching can be leveraged to produce peak performance lawyering. She is also a frequent guest lecturer at other elite academic institutions, including Penn Law and Columbia Law. 

 

Elina is passionate about philanthropy and social entrepreneurship and previously served as global philanthropic project adviser for the Allan & Gill Gray Foundation.

Elina holds an M.A. in Psychology from Columbia University, Teacher’s College, a B.A. in Economics from New York University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School and completed the Columbia University Executive Coaching Certification Program.
